What exactly is a conscious angler?  This title is reserved for someone that is aware of what is actually happening while fishing.  Theres nearly 8 billion human beings in the world now and we're all apex predators - if we don't protect our fisheries as a team no one will.  So give more, take less, and be awake in everything you do including fishing.
